What We Do at The College of Nursing Sciences, FNPH, Benin City.

We train post basic student Nurses in Mental Health at CONS, FNPH, Benin City. Since the school was opened about 35 years ago, manpower needs has become a thing of the past to the hospital. The College has also provided a training ground for other neighboring states e.g. Ondo, Ekiti, Lagos (before the opening of their own school of nursing), Anambra, Delta, Benue and even far states like Plateau, Kano and Bauchi States. Sokoto, Maduguri, Rivers State, Police and prisons services. Even before the opening of the School, the hospital was organizing orientation lectures for student nurses on affiliation from various health institutions.
